A New Level of PRIDE

History

The History of Pride Football

Mountain Pointe High School was opened in 1991, with legendary Head Coach Karl Kiefer starting the football program. One of Arizona’s most successful coaches, Kiefer instilled a strong football tradition that has continued for over 20 years. The philosophy of the program is to develop student-athletes both on and off the field, preparing players not only for football but also for life.

“Our goal is to become one of the dominant teams in the state while helping young boys become men with the skills and character necessary to succeed in life.”

-Coach Norris Vaughan
